The MENSA STAR meals are served!
They were chosen in December: The best recipes, the most delicious meals, the MENSA STARS 2018! 170 students took part in the recipe contest and the Studierendenwerk expert jury made a first selection of five recipes per category. After that, 2 190 online voters picked their favourites. Our customers get the chance to get a taste of the winning dishes in February:
Mon., 11.02.: Lemongrass Chicken with rice noodles, 3,90 €*
Winner in the category „Main course with fish or meat“
Thu., 14.02.: Wild rice spinach with yoghurt, 2,10 €
Winner in the category „Vegetarian/vegan main course“
Fri., 15.02.: Apple Crumble with caramelized walnuts, 1,50 €**
Winner in the category „Dessert“
You can even meet the authors of the winning recipes: Studierendenwerk invited the three winners to present their dish and serve it in Mensa Academica. Even though it’s always busy at the counters – maybe you will have a chance to congratulate them!
