How do you cook for thousands of guests? How are ingredients prepared in a large kitchen? What does it take to meet the hygiene standards? Almost everyone who has been to a university dining hall is curious about these things.
Soon, it will be possible to get the answers: In October, Studierendenwerk organizes a public tour for students through the storerooms and kitchens of Mensa Academica. The head of the dining hall, Peter Schröder, will be your guide.
The tour will take place on Wednesday, 26 October, at 3 pm in Mensa Academica on Pontwall 3. The maximum number of participants is twelve persons. Students can sign up for the tour via email: mira.backhaus@stw.rwth-aachen.de. Depending on the number of registrations we will do a second tour in November.
