Christmas tree with wish lists

Early Christmas surprise: Children and adolescents who cannot celebrate Christmas with their families received presents from RWTH students and staff. Everybody who wanted to give a present had the possibility to pick a wish list from the Christmas tree in SuperC.

The rector of RWTH Ernst Schmachtenberg and Malte Brettel, Vice-Rector for Industry and Business Relations and initiator of the event, handed over the presents to the children and adolescents on Wednesday, 16 December.

The event was organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship group of RWTH. Partners were Rotary International, its youth organization Rotaract, Mayersche Buchhandlung, Flower Power Seidenblumen-Import GmbH and Studierendenwerk Aachen, that sponsored drinks and snacks.
