Mensa Academica is reopening its doors!

Just in time for the start of classes, life is returning to Mensa Academica at Pontwall: After the Studentenwerk’s main dining hall was closed for several weeks due to energy-efficiency upgrades, approval for its reopening was granted this week just in time. Meals will therefore once again be served in the building starting Monday, October 12.

Since some remaining work will still be carried out in the coming weeks – primarily on the refrigeration systems – the selection of food options will initially be slightly smaller than usual. Three different hot meals are planned each day; the specialty counters will open at a later date. The entire market area, including the coffee bar, as well as a section on the first floor will be available for use. The serving area in front of the building will remain open at the same time, so that several serving locations will be available at the start of the lecture week.

Mon.–Thu.  7:30 am–3 pm, Fri. 2:30 pm
Hot meals serving:
Mon.–Thu.  11:30 am–3 pm, Fri. 2:30 pm

Starting next week, Bistro Templergraben and cafeteria ESStw will be open until 6 pm (until 2:30 pm on Fridays).
