Now it's time to serve the MENSA STAR dishes!

They were announced in June: the best recipes, the tastiest dishes—the MENSA STARS of 2026! Around 150 students took part in our big online recipe contest, and a panel of experts from Studierendenwerk shortlisted five dishes in each of four categories. Afterwards, around 1,000 online voters took the opportunity to vote for their favorites. All cafeteria guests can find out for themselves how the winning dishes taste in July, when the MENSA STAR dishes will finally be served:

Brownie Cheesecake as Homemade Cake, 3.20 €*
Winner of the „Dessert“ category

Wed., July 15:
Bulgarian Moussaka 5.20 €*
Winner of the „Fish/Meat Dish“ category

Thu., July 16:
Stuffed Sweet Potato with Spinach and Feta 4.20 €*
Winner of the „Vegetarian Dish“ category

If you’re lucky, you might even get to meet the recipe creators in person: The Studierendenwerk has invited the top four winners to present their dishes in person and serve them behind the counter at the Mensa Academica.
