Open Day on FH Campus Jülich

Open Day on Campus Jülich: On Saturday, 1 April 2017, 11 am to 4 pm, FH Aachen presents its courses, labs and institutes on Campus Jülich. Visitors can experience science, do experiments and attend interesting presentations.
There is a variety of topics, e.g. stars and nuclei, digitalization of the working world, nanotechnology or energy supply in Europe. In the labs visitors can watch high voltage experiments, experience what sensors taste of, cook with solar energy and see the power of the sun on a photovoltaic meter. They can attend a programming workshop, interact with robots, perform an ECG on their mobile phone and much more.
There is also going to be an information desk of the Studierendenwerk BAföG Office. Visitors get to know everything about financial support during studies, such as BAföG, the Daka loan and the KfW loan.
For the first time, FH Aachen organizes the „Day of Dual Study Programmes“. Pupils and students are welcome to visit the auditorium of Campus Jülich and meet companies that cooperate with FH Aachen and are part of the Dual Study Programmes. There will be presentations on the different programmes in detail.
Of course, also professors, teachers and other university staff will be there to answer questions. How does a course of study proceed? What kinds of courses are there and what kind of work can I do with them later?
More information on the Open Day will be published on the Campus Jülich website in the next few weeks.
