Six new apprentices start at Studierendenwerk

With a welcome breakfast the first day as staff member of Studierendenwerk started for six new apprentices. CEO Dirk Reitz greeted the new colleagues and wished them successful years of training.
“As long-standing training company we take responsibility for young people’s futures“, said Dirk Reitz. “With their promotion we also create the basis for the further development of Studierendenwerk.” Technological advancements entail new challenges and the growing complexity of tasks. That requires a continuous inclusion of new young staff members into different Studierendenwerk departments.
Two of the new apprentices start their career to become office administrators, the others will become IT administrator, system catering specialist and cook.
Apprentice supervisor Stefanie Claveria is convinced of the high quality of the apprenticeships. “With a wide range of different departments Studierendenwerk offers hands-on, varied training – the best foundation for a successful career.” Studierendenwerk employs round about 300 people in the areas dining, facility management, childcare, student finances and in the commercial administration.
