Studi-Werk Cup at Cologne Marathon

During exam phases sport is often neglected. After having spent much time at your desk it will feel good to move and do some physical activity. Beside signing up for one of the many university sports courses, training for a marathon or half marathon would be a great motivation.

For the second time, Kölner Studierendenwerk organizes the Studi-Werk Cup at the Cologne Marathon on 2 October 2016. If they register for the marathon by 25 September, students from German universities pay a cheaper registration fee:

Entry fee marathon

• Until 15 September 2016: €76 instead of €85
• 16-25 September 2016: €102 instead of €111

Entry fee half marathon

• Until 15 September 2016: €52 instead of €56
• 16-25 September 2016: €56 instead of €60

Participating students can even win a prize. The registration is made on the homepage of the Cologne Marathon. When registering you indicate your university and your matriculation number. Getting to Cologne is no problem as all students in Aachen and Jülich have an NRW ticket.

The Cologne Marathon takes place for the 20^th time, the Studi-Werk Cup was organized for the first time in 2015. 37 students took part in the marathon and 105 students ran the half marathon.
