Taste the winning burger!

Five weeks, five burgers – that was the motto of our BURGERMANIA Special. Students tasted different burger creations and voted for their favourite. The clear winner with more than 40 percent of the votes is the “Double cheese and beef” Burger. This burger will be on the Mensa Academica menu in regular intervals and from 6 to 9 June we offer it every day!

We thank everybody who participated and voted and congratulate our winners! The first prize was a 50 € voucher for our dining halls and the second prize a 25 € voucher. The winners of the third to fifth prize received one of our eco-friendly MensaCups.

The burger ranking:

1st place: “Double cheese and beef” Burger with bacon
2nd place: “Long Chicken Deluxe” Burger with bacon
3rd place: “Genua” Burger with tomatoes, mozzarella and rocket in a focaccia bun
4th place: “Pulled Pork Burger” with nachos and Emmental cheese in a brioche bun
5th place: “Roquefort Bacon“ Burger with lingonberries and rocket in a lye bun
