Healthy energy balls with dates

Ingredients:

  • 10-12 dates
  • 1-2 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 75 g cashews
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons water
  • Optionally 1 teaspoon flax or chia seeds
  • Optional approx. 2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter

Preparation:

  • Blend dates, cashews, cranberries and salt in a stand mixer until smooth.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add a little water and continue to blend.
  • If the mixture is too liquid, mix in more rolled oats or grated nuts.
  • If desired, add additional chia or flax seeds and peanut butter and mix.
  • Form round balls from the mixture and place on a plate.
  • It is best to store the balls in a closed container in the refrigerator, where they will be good for about a week.
