
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 150 ml milk
- 250 g sugar
- 100 ml vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 550 g flour
- 10 g baking powder
Preparation:
- Mix the ingredients together. Beat the eggs until frothy.
- Add baking powder at the end and stir in.
- Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for ½ hour.
- Divide the dough into four parts on a large baking sheet and roll out. Prick the dough with a fork to prevent bubbles from forming during baking.
- Bake in the oven at about 180 °C for about 15 minutes until the dough browns very lightly. Then let cool.
For the filling and decoration:
- First, cook the vanilla pudding from 1 L milk. Alternatively, the pudding can either be flavored or a product for cold mixing can be used (e.g. cream of paradise).
- Place the baked cake batter on a plate and layer it alternately with the pudding, so that the top layer consists only of the vanilla pudding. Then sprinkle the custard layer with about 100 g of coconut flakes.
- Cover the cake with a foil and store it in the refrigerator for one day. Then the cake can be cut.
